BREAKFAST CLUB FASHION SHOW :): Breakfast Club is a fabulous tradition that we have at Purdue. Let me sum it up quickly: During football season, Saturday home games start off as madness. At 7am, the bars open. Students dress up in creative costumes and wait in line as early as 6am. Screwdrivers at Where Else (a bar in W. Lafayette) are extremely popular on these Saturday mornings as well as the loud 80s music everyone loves to dance to. In light of my last semester at Purdue and having this blog about why college rules, I thought it be imperative to include something about Breakfast Club. These pictures remind me of the hilarity that’s this tradition and how much fun I’ve had in my years here :). 

It’s Not a Snuggie it’s a WTF Blanket: On CollegeHumor.com they have a Snuggie parody I just about DIED of laughter from when these Snuggie’s actually became a hit. Because of this parody, me and my bestie chose to wear he/she Snuggie’s for Breakfast Club in 09. The book light really just adds to the hilarity of it all.

Man WTF Blanket: So presh.

Tree Human: Okay, seeing this at 7am on a Saturday morning after a few beers is a riot. I was SO impressed with this costume. I wonder how long it took to create…People put so much thought into BC!

Perfect Breakfast: My gal pal is a breakfast club genius. Her and her friends were cereal for BC this year. I give her the award for Best Breakfast Club Costume, talk about attention to detail! Ps. I could really use a bowl of Captain Crunch right now.

Meeeow Purr: For the minimalists that don’t have the time or strength to create a costume such as Captain Crunch, a simple pair of kitty ears will do! I had to throw this one in there for old-times sake. Calling out to S-Rubek—flash back.

Questionable: Stole this from one of my girls’ albums. Geez this made me laugh. I just love this Alice and Wonderland-man look. 

Fairy and Weiner: Only this girl would look cute in a hotdog costume!

Super Girls: This was a fun costume to create. We went to a fabric store and got the colors that we wanted and went creative! I love being creative with costumes :)

WTF Donatello: I say WTF because that’s what S-Rubek’s aka Man Snuggie is thinking. AND is this Donatello or Michaelangelo I can’t remember!
